“Every commission starts with a conversation. I enjoy getting to know my customers and see it as my role to interpret their style and lifestyle to guide them with their choices.”
Cloth will be selected, and styles discussed. “I do not follow trends, instead, the customer’s shape and size dictate the silhouette and I cut in a way that flatters the body by keeping everything in proportion to the unique figuration of the individual.”
Once your measurements have been taken, a paper pattern will be drafted. This pattern is unique to you and will be kept on record and updated after every fitting. Using this pattern, the cloth is cut, and the pieces are assembled for your first fitting. After each fitting, the garment is ripped down and the relevant adjustments are made to the cloth and the pattern. The garment is then reassembled for the next fitting.
Every garment is cut with inlay included on most seams – this means that if over time your body changes, the suit can be adjusted to make sure that it still fits, increasing the longevity of every piece. If well cared for, a bespoke garment will last a lifetime, if not longer.
